Hello. I have been a caregiver for a long time. I have always had a compassionate personality and feel the need to help people. I feel like this makes me a great CNA.

Hi!! My name is Cindy. I am 41 yrs old and have been married to my best friend for 13 years. We have no children. I have been working in geriatrics for 20+ years. It's my passion. I have worked in skilled nursing homes, assisted living homes, hospitals, Alzheimer's units, and my personal favorite in home settings. I have had CNA certification, med tech, first aid and CPR, diabetic care training, wound care, and more. I take great pride in my work. It's more than a paycheck to me. I feel that when u hire a caregiver you are bringing in someone as family to take care of your loved one like family

I am a very outgoing and friendly person who loves to talk to others. I have two grandparents with Alzheimer's and understand what it is like to watch a loved one suffer from this disease. I am dedicated to making their day better and being a companion!

I graduated high school with my CNA license and shortly after started my first job at Hardinsburg Nursing and rehab center. It was extremely stressful but very rewarding. I learned a lot from not only my co-workers but the residents I looked after. This job gave me the opportunity to further learn about medical issues and how I could help ease the pain or simply take their mind off of it. Shorty after leaving this job I started working as a caregiver at the BeeHive homes of Grayson county which is an assisted living facility in Kentucky. The BeeHive was a much more positive environment and allowed me to grow personal relationships with the people I cared for. The BeeHive is half the size with double the manpower which allows the caregivers to take breaks and actually get to know who we are caring for, their life story, their family and so much more. I love working with my residents because when I have some life problem I'm telling them about they have all kinds of wisdom to share.

I have a bubbly personality, empathy towards others. I love being a caregiver and taking care of others. I love meeting new clients and making a difference in their lives. I proud of how much experience I have taking care of others and hopefully one day having my own home care business.

Three years ago, my grandmother was diagnosed with Stomach and lung cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis, she had a stroke and was unable to do much of anything for herself. I took care of my grandparents until my grandma passed away last year. I realized that helping people was something that I really valued and took a job as CNA at the hospital and loved the work I did there. My favorite part was helping the patients to achieve things they thought that they couldn't by offering them an arm to hold onto and some encouraging words.

I love being a caregiver and helping others is what I love to do. I have over 6 years in experience caring for the elderly. My personality traits consist of being trustworthy, loving, caring, and having understanding and energetic. I am very trustworthy with what I say. I am very caring to others and will put their feelings first, I show love and compassion when it comes to helping others. I am supportive and will help you to do what you want to do. I am energetic and will get things done if needed or I can be laid back and spending it with someone who feels lonely. I am very good company and my previous clients and current clients will agree. Caregiving attracted me when I was providing personal care for a resident and felt like I was needed and appreciated for helping them. I find joy a happiness helping others. My personal achievement is working as a caregiver over 6 years with a lot of experience and good references from helping others. I love helping and caring for others and feeling appreciated by making a difference in someone else's life.
