I have worked with different clients and I have worked at a facility, adult family home, and one on one care. Caregiver is a great job that helps me to meet with different people and see the world in a different way. Being able to help another person is what I always wanted since I was young. Being a caregiver gives me an understanding of what other people go through. I even decided to pursue my education in public health because I wanted to learn different ways to help people. I have been a caregiver for almost 3 years now and I love it.

Hello there! I am Calista a stay at home mamma to my one hear old daughter! I stayed with my great grandpa over the last few years before he passed last christmas. I was like a companion to him, we played card games, ate lunches together, watched movies, and sometimes just walked down to the lake to just look at the beautiful view in silence. I would love to get back into it again!

Not just job opportunity but is also some details in this career which are relevant to my talents and my skills, that is area where I see myself efficient and useful for that specific population of human beings. Learning process from clients something new how to deal with certain difficult situations when people appeared to be less susceptible by regular community. I love being a care giver because you can become someone's best friend and help them live life like they are still young and spry! It's such a satisfying feeling leaving work every day knowing that I made life easier for someone and more comfortable. I strive to make their needs happen to the best of my ability. And I treat them the way I would want myself or anyone in my family to be treated, because they are your family and they mean the world to you. They deserve companionship and to be loved just like everyone else. The thing I enjoy most about a being a caregiver is that I make a new friend and get to make every day for them easy and can hopefully help them improve! It's such a rewarding job knowing you've given them love and care when they need it.
