I have lots of experience in and out of facilities all the way up to hospitals & clinics and have been able to work with everything from basic needs to full assist, as well as in home care, rehabilitation, long term and short term care. I like to believe I am very well rounded. I am a current nursing student going for my RN currently. I take pride in my work by providing best care possible within my abilities. I am very passionate about this line of work and have been from a young age since I grew up taking care of several family members. About me. I've been a caregiver for 23 years I moved to Alabama in 2009 where I worked for affordable home care for 8 years. My oldest child is 30 years old, I also have a 21 year old, and a 13 year old. My children are my greatest achievements and they are where my caregiver "carrier" truly started. They taught me a great deal of patience, they taught me to be reliable and flexible. All are things that I use in my caregiver profession still today. Through them I have learned I love helping people. When I have a client they become a second family to me. For me seeing the smile of a family member I have helped leaves me with a worm fuzzy feeling that cant be explained. I've been a Medical Assistant for 9 years and love caring for people. While a majority of my medical career has been spent in pediatrics, I've experienced caregiving for seniors part-time throughout the last 15 years. I'm just as passionate about healthcare as it relates to Seniors and/or those with physical limitations, as I am about children.
