I became interested in care giving because my Mom was in an automobile accident which left her paralyzed & my sister-in-law was in an automobile accident which left her with a brain injury. I was my mom's caregiver from age 17 until I was married at age 22. While living in Greenwood, IN, I worked for Companion Care as a cargiver. My Mom moved in with us in 2010, I took care of her until she passed in 2016. I enjoy helping people to be able to live at home without having to live in a nursing home. I prefer not to bath & dress, I helped my mom with bathing & dressing, however it was something I did because it needed to be done, I was never comfortable with this part of her care. If I get to know the person and they need help every once in awhile, I will do anything to help them. I was with 2 of my clients in Greenwood, IN until they passed away, I prefer the one on one attention I can give when working with an individual in their home.

Hello I am a longtime caregiver, health aid, dsp, pca, and stna! recently moved back home with my parents to help care for them as well with daily life living!! I love my job and I have been interested in the medical field since a young girl even taking the health program my 4 yrs of high school at a career technical school!! I'm very passionate about my career; I am proud of my other achievements as well like being a cosmologist and also a front and back of the house cook before dappling in the culinary field. I have work beside a couple a chefs and learn a lot along the way! I love to cook it's my most favorite hobby I enjoy! Also I love music mostly all genres and to read! Hi! My name is Chrissy and I'm a wife and a mom of two teenage boys. Besides raising my boys, we are a family of 10 goats, a ton of chickens (fresh eggs!!), and three dogs, all adopted. I have been in emergency care for 10+ years and love giving back to my community. I currently work in the town I grew up in. I have made lifelong relationships while being there and consider them a part of my family. My very first job out of high school was a CNA at Beecher Anchorage. I formed some pretty strong bonds with some of the residents along with their families. I love helping take care of people and know that I am making a difference in someone else's life. It's important to me that I create a strong bond with my patient and also their family.

Hello, I am Jessey and I love taking care of people and cleaning, I am great with taking care of injured people because when my mom broke her back I was the one mostly giving her a bath and taking care of her. I have not yet gotten my license so this job might be a little hard for me but it will be okay because I will figure out how to take care of everyone. I am still in school so I will have to be limited to certain hours and days.

I believe growing up with my grandma gave me hope to help the elderly. Being able to say I helped with people grandparents and mothers or fathers. Absolutely everything from taking care of the elderly to companionship. Becoming a better person then yesterday.

My stepmother is a Nurse Practitioner and most of my family consists of Nurses. This made me want to get my foot in the door for nursing school so I became a CNA. The thing I enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to feel accomplished when helping someone. I love that I am able to be trusted and counted on to help an individual out. Personal achievements I am proud of is the thought that I can make someones day just by helping them do little tasks that maybe they aren't able to do anymore.
