I believe I'm a good listener and I care about the wellbeing of others. I have known since the 7th grade that I want to help others empower themselves.

I am a very understanding and have a lot of patience! I lived with my grandfather growing up and I loved taking care of him and that made me want to do it for others. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is seeing how thankful clients are for my services. A personal achievement I am proud of is getting my level 1 med aide.

I became a medical assistant to help people. In working in a physician office I had the experience of working with all ages. In this day I have seen more elderly people trying to live at home who need some help with care in order to stay at home. Some of the elder are trying to stay together as long as possible but due to age can not give the care that is need for the other person. With insurance not wanting to cover for a long stay at a hospital for patient, more are sent home to recover and are in need of extra help in order to recover. This can put a strain on the family life of having to take care of an ill member and with help can help in the recover of the love one and aid in making family life more normal. With help of a care giver it can relieve the burden which is placed on a family member when a love one is ill or in need of care. With my life experience I have work with many different types of people, old to young, some better off than others, and all types of races. We all have family and loves ones that at time need help whether it is from a family member or some one else we all can use a helping hand.

I have a very big heart which lets me get really close with the resident and they open up to me . I've been taking care of people my whole adult career and I feel like residents deserve the best care. Being able to make a change in someone's life . And being able to buy a house and have a paid of car.

I have always been interested in jobs that deal with the care of a persons lifestyle and I never hesitate when it comes to lending a hand to someone who needs it. I am very flexible with schedules and dealing with different clients, and I can easily adapt to new environments and the surroundings. I have experience in both home care and in a skilled nursing facility. My favorite part of my job on top of helping others is getting to know the resident I am caring for. As a caregiver you can spend more time with your client getting to know them better, which makes caring for them more of like a hobby than a job.

I believe that I am a good care giver because I am so easy to get along with and I just everyone. I decided to go in the direction of health care because I feel that it is almost second nature to me to help out where and when I can with being a mother of 4 kids. This asks what attracted me to the healthcare provision and to be honest in the very beginning it actually just kinda fell right in my lap. My husband because disabled and I was a stay at home mom with no schooling or work underneath me and it was time I had to help support my family. It was just the right timing that Kne-cap was running a program where they was helping people go through school to get them somewhere. I decided that was my opportunity and to grab it while it was available. I am proud of myself because I got both my CNA and HHA with the help and got a job and stuck with the first one and just loved my client. From there I decided to take it even farther and get my associates degree in Business Health while working full-time and being a mom of 4 small kids. I have no work history for this under my belt at this giving time.

I am an attentive CNA, with family based HHS home health services such as meal prep, Ned reminder, bathing, transportation, appointments. You name it I can do it I've had 2 years experience as a CNA in faculties I am hardworking, caring, and compassionate. I go above and beyond to ensure my residents/ patients happiness. I would love an opportunity to get to care for some lovely people and keep them company to make sure they're in the right hands.

I like to preserve the dignity of the client and allow them to live in their home and attend to their daily activities as much as possible. I enjoy listening to tales of their youth and believe one should encourage communication. I was able to take extended time off to provide care to my own parents and believe that living at home as long as possible helps with the healing process.
