Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I love to talk and companionship is a big plus for me in the healthcare field. I am very compassionate about the care I provide and I enjoy the friendships I get to make. I am always looking for ways and opportunities to better my skills and care. Just for a little extra info, I do speak some spanish, however not too fluent; I also play several musical instruments in which I got to share music with some of the residents I cared for. I am a great caregiver because i've been caregiving for more than 6 years and still love what i do. I love providing home caregiving services to those that would otherwise not be able to do so. The smile on their faces is overwhelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. I have always enjoyed helping people so I know I am doing the right thing. I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me.
