Hello everyone! I am a caregiver based out of Seguin. I have worked as a CNA, adding with various other roles since 2011. I have also personally cared for several family members in my home when they were in need. Being compassionate is my goal and my best quality.

Deeply committed to treating me elderly clients with dignity and respect, my goal is to win their trust and alleviate any embarrassment or anxiety. They may feel when needing assistance with bathing, toileting, grooming or other personal care. I truly enjoy working with elderly residents.

I have been a caretaker most of my adult life. I took care of my mother for several years while she was ill with Lupus and worked in several nursing homes, assisted living and independent living facilities. I understand the worry of having someone to assist and keep your love one company and ensuring that they are well "looked" after while you are away. I have been a certified nurse's assistant and activty director for both nursing homes and assisted living facilities and I understand the importance of keeping people activite and happy. Taking care of elderly or sick people is my passion. I cook very well, sew, do arts and crafts and can lead low to high elements of exercise. I know professional techniques to get my clients engaged or just make them laugh. I assist with bathing, light housekeeping and of course by this message you can tell I love to talk; and if your loved-one is a religious person, I don't mind reading scriptures or praying either. I enjoy being a caregiven and I genuinely care about my clients and their family. I just recently retired from Job Corps after working there 20+ years taking care of at risk youth in a residential setting. After retirement, I decided to go back to working with Seniors as an Activity Director and care taker.

I became a Caregiver because I have a big heart and I really care about helping People. I enjoy going to bed at night knowing I made my Client smile and met their personal needs to keep them going.

My name is Velicia Lawson , I am 28 years old. I have 3 kids ages 9,7&4 years old, all girls. I feel I will be a great fit for the home health care giver postion, I have been taking care of my dad since I was 21 years old. My skills working with him included Diabetic, wound care , grooming, meal prep, grocery shopping, and taking to his appointments as well. I will I can provide the comfort to a family letting them know that their loved ones will be in great hands when they are with me in home and out of home.

I am a young mom looking to make a difference. I have two children a girl and a boy both under two. I came to love caregiving once I began taking care of my grandfather who had cancer he changed my view company and after caring for him I decided I wanted to help other peoples loved ones. I am a respectful and hard working person. Not only do I have personal experience but I also have experience in a nursing home.
