I am a certified Cna as well as a medical an assistant and phlebotomy tech. I've been in the medical field almost ten years and I truly love what I do. I enjoy meeting new people and being that helping hand when needed.

I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping those in need and if I was in a position where I needed help I would want someone to help me.I believe you should do unto others as you want others to do unto you.

My passion is helping others. I served in the military for 6yrs. I have worked in the health care field for 8 yrs. I have worked as housekeeper, dietary aid, personal care assistant, certified clinical medical assistant, and nurses aid. Caring for others whom are not able to care for themselves gives me a sense of purpose. Some day I would like to become a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthesist.

I became a Cna at 17 years old when my Great Grandmother decided she would not stay home with us, not wanting to burden family. I decided that one of us needed to go to her then and went to Job Corp got my Ged and Cna before my Highschool class graduated. I then took my first job at Parkview Nursing and Rehab in Waterloo, Iowa . I believe in giving my clients and their families the best of me as I see the big picture and know how hard caring at home can be. In 1998 my grandpa was diagnosed with Parkinson's We kept him home as long as we could and then I went to work at Country View where he was first placed due to memory problems. He ended up back home ! We cared for him until he suffered a fall ( very common in Parkinson's ) at that time Caring for the elderly in a loving, respectful and life enriching way no matter the illness/ ability is my goal! I want my clients to have the best day each day they spend with me and I have an amazing portfolio showcasing my light work and great family references! I am capable of all aspects of homecare! I have 20 plus years experience. I am loyal and dependable, I have a glowing, upbeat personality! Great references and letters of recommendations! I am a very trustworthy and organized person !
