I started as a care professional in 1976. I owned and operated my care giving business for children until Dec 2007. I opened Delaney Care Giving in Jan 2008 operated that until. June 24 2016 when I restructured my business as a nonprofit organization. I am a true at heart Care Professional.

Having empathy, compassion, patience, attentiveness, dependability, trustworthiness, and respectfulness makes me a great caregiver. To provide support to those who need it the most and to help improve the quality life of everyone I touch. I enjoy jobs where I have one-on-one interaction with. I like that I have the potential to make a difference in someone's life and bring a smile to their faces. Finishing my CNA course and passing my state board. Being a mother and wife it was not easy, it was challenging! But I never gave up and at the end it was all worth it!!

I have been doing caregiving service for more than 10 years and I would say that I have a great experience. I handled all kinds of client's situations from companionship to sick elders. I've been trained to handle hospice patients too. Most of my clients find me a very responsible and easy to get along person and I believe these basic qualities helped me most to be liked by my clients.

I was introduced to the world of healthcare and caregiving when I was just a child transitioning into my teen years. I took care of my grandmother when she was ill up until she passed and she would constantly tell me how fine of a nurse I would be. It was this experience that attracted me to the field of caregiving. Following this I took some CNA classes and it was caregiving from there. I have a passion for helping people and being a caregiver has enabled me to fulfill this passion. It joys me to see my patients happy and full of positivity. It makes me smile to know that the care I provide can make them feel better, and makes them feel comfortable, allowing them to feel loved and cared for. This is what I enjoy most about my field of work. I am a great listener and pay much attention to their needs, and their care, and am a very effective communicator. I love being a caregiver.

In the facility that I currently work in, I work with many residents with varying degrees of dependence. This has helped me to take care of multiple residents while giving quality individualized care. I decided to become a care giver a few years ago because I have always wanted to help others. So far, the best part of giving care is seeing how much my assistance positively impacts my residents' lives. In March of 2018, I began my first job that would launch me into becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant a couple months later after receiving training within the company. I am thankful and proud that I chose to become a Nursing Assistant. Now, I take care of a client 21 hours a week including heavy house keeping, running errands, and fixing appliances.

I have been a certified nursing assistant for 10 years now. I have experience in a hospital setting, nursing home setting, private care, hospice and home health. I absolutely love helping others and those who need assistance. It is rewarding for me to see a smile on my client's face. I am very knowledgeable in medical equipment and transferring. Some of the most interesting and wise people I've come across have actually been those whom I've helped!

I have been a Licensed certified Nurse Aide since 1981. I have worked in homes, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, assisted living centers, mental health and treatment facilities. Recently mostly have done end of life/hospice care and I am the first last person they will ever meet so hope to make a good friendly provider for them.
