Hello my name is Yvette I've been a certified Caregiver for 23 yrs now and love making a difference in people's lives , I have a great passion for helping elderly,I've always enjoyed working with just about anyone any circumstances I have knowledge in all medical equipments and disorders , I also have personal instructor degree as well . I can accomplished any task assigned to me with great success.

Over 10+ years of experience in the Home Health Care & In Home Service and Beahaviorsl Health field. My major responsibilities had included; Administrative management support, data entry,patient discharge& admission and drug screen, vital signs, patient evaluations,monitoring medication intake and distribution of medication and medicstion reminder. I have cared for individuals living with functional limited , developmental disabilities, mental disabilities and Alzheimer's disease and Dementia. I will say my expertise is Alzheimer's & Dementia patients but, I also enjoy working with children and adults with development disabilities. I find been a Caregiver allows me to give back to society and honor my grandmother who cared for me as a child when I myself couldn't care for myself. She had started developing The early stages of Alzheimer's before she pass away. What I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is spending time with these wonderful people I am always amazed at their strength and love for life I find strength in just being around these great human beings . One of my personal achievements I am proud of be awarded for my community involvement with working with at risk youths. I just love my job!

I'm a very social person I enjoy meeting new peoples. I have always been a very caring person being raced by my grandmother and helping with her care made me the caregiver I'm today.

I am a clean and respectful person, who genuinely enjoy spending time with and getting to know others. I have taken and successfully passed a CNA course as part of the prerequisites for the nursing program that I had planned on completing when I was in college, however plans changed and I never took the state test for licensure. I also have years of experience working with the elderly and those with dementia, and especially victims of stroke. I enjoy being able to make a difference in my community helping those who are in need, and providing some cheerful companionship, and I hope that when I am old and in need, I will be so fortunate to have someone help me also.

My ability to connect with people is exceptional. I have 40 years of experience in all aspects of health care including hospice. Very focus with in a professional medical guidelines and I'm very patient focused and have all the patience in the world. I'm a believer in that I take care of my patients and clients with dignity and respect as I would want to receive for myself. Motivated to go the extra mile when it comes to all aspect of my life and my clients which most, becoming a part of my very own family. My grandmother introduced me to caregivers,she worked at villa Maria I volunteered my summers as grade school up to high school.. loved it! Truly a passion of mine being able to give my care to families & there loved ones. I learn so much from my clients, hearing there stories way back when is amazing, so intriguing to me. I have my caregiver license & HCA/MA & have completed many online courses with Certifications.

With my mom being a nurse i was introduced to the medical field at a very young age, i became very fond of the idea of helping those in need and that's what started my medical career journey and I have continued and enjoyed it each and every day .

I've always been a care giver at heart even when I was little. I even had a pet chicken that thought I was his mother. Thanks to good parents I had a few animals that I got to care for before they became humans so I had a lot of practice. When I would think of my own parents getting on in their years I thought about who I would've wanted for them if they needed someone. I thought of myself because I love to make others comfortable. If they were sick it was me who took care of them. If my parents were gone it would've been me to think of their return and how to make it easier for them. I am very easy to talk to and am a great listener. The stories that the elderly share I have cherished. It's a part of them that I get to keep. If I can make someone's day brighter, cheerily and hopeful than I m where I need to be. We both win on a day like that.
