I enjoy bringing a smile to my clients by attending to all their activities of daily living. Such as safe surroundings, hygiene, meal prep and just being there for them. It has been a rewarding career since 1988.

I am a very compassionate, goal driven, loving person. I love to help others. I am a RN. BSN . I am mother of 3 children. I enjoy taking care of others and helping them with their daily routines.

What makes me a great caregiver is that I have 9 years experience and I truly love being able to be of service to those in need and being that support that they can count on. What attracted me to being a caregiver is that I am always helping those around me so it came easy and it's something new everyday.

I try to constantly strive to be the best version of myself--in my job, with my health and fitness, with my relationships and with my emotional well-being. To be a good leader, to trust, respect, and always try to bring out the best in people. I always have a smile on my face, I treat my patient/resident as if they're my family because they are someones family. I enjoy being a caregiver because I love helping people in anyway that I can, I enjoy seeing smiles on others faces when I do something for them. A personal achievement that I am proud of is that I always give my my clients the best out of me every time.

I love helping people! I was in the health care field throughout my adult life. From in home care to rehab facilities. I come from a family of nurses and emergency responders.

I have been in the care giving business for 4.5 years. I have a lot of experience with seniors and enjoy there life experiences. I am compassionate towards the needs of others. I love being able to put a smile on other's face. I am very reliable and have references upon request. Also I have a client I am taking care of through this site. My availability is Monday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon.

What makes me a great caregiver? I love people and just knowing am able to give back to my elders is amazing. I am a caregiver to everyone my own children, others children, elders and people on the street by feeding them and just assisting them where its needed , giving words of encouragement. Around the community people call me mama/ mama nay-nay or grandma. I feel God put me on this earth to care for others besides myself. I have always put others needs before my own. I will go without just so someone else is able to be okay. Am humble, funny, lovable and caring. Am very proud of all my accomplishments but most of all Receiving my Masters in Human Services was one I was most proud of. Loving others is what I do best.

As a caregiver, I am responsible for the well being of others and/or the patient I am taking care of. I have a nurturing desire to help those in need. One of the characteristics that make me a good caregiver is empathy. With empathy, I am able to get a personal connection/understanding of my patient which is vital. With empathy, my patient can create a sense of calamity and trust for those being cared for. Another characteristic is patience. You must have patience to care for your patient. Your patient may not be self-sufficient enough to express themselves which can lead to outburst and frustrations. Reliability is essential to being caregiver. Your patient relies and depends on your care. I love caring for others that can't care for themselves. "It's very rewarding to know that you are making a positive difference in someone's life." Since I have became a caregiver, I am proud that able to care for my mother at home and others in nursing home facilitates
