Hi my name is Darci, I have been working in health care for the past 25+ years. I started out as a Medical Assistant working in an Urgent Care Center in my early 20's. Soon after I was offered a position as a private caregiver for a quadriplegic female and I absolutely loved it. To me there is no job more rewarding and fulfilling then care giving. I have worked as a private in home caregiver and (2010-2015) as a Lead Caregiver/Caregiver trainer in a local Alzheimer's facility. I am also a DONA trained Postpartum Doula with many years experience in caring for new mothers and babies. YEARS AGO I WAS A CNA. I STARTED A DIFFERENT CAREER AFTER I GRADUATED FROM HIGH SCHOOL AND COLLEGE.WHEN MY PARENTS BECAME STRICKEN WITH CANCER I QUIT MY JOB AND TOOK CARE OF THEM FOR 10 YEARS. THEY NOW HAVE PASSED ON. I THEN STARTED TO DO CAREGIVING FOR A COUPLE OF AGENCIES. I HAVE ALSO ATTENDED CLASSES TO RENEW MY CNA LICENSE, WHICH I CURRENTLY HOLD. I ALSO HAVE A CERTIFICATE IN CPR. I HAVE WORKED WITH HOSPICE, ALZHEIMER, AND STROKE PATIENTS. I'VE WORKED IN-HOME 24 HR. SHIFTS AS WELL AS 12 HR. SHIFTS AM AND PM. I AM ABLE TO COMMUTE FROM LODI, CA TO SURROUNDING AREAS INCLUDING STOCKTON, SACRAMENTO, MODESTO, AND TRACY.

I am actually a CNA. I became one because of my grandmother. Seeing her in the sick stage made me want to care for every elderly I could. As a child to see someone who means a lot to you, just go down it made me say when I grow up I want to be in the medical field . And I became a certified nurse assistant. I like the fact that they depend on me for care. I also enjoy caring for them,the look in there eyes when they see me makes me feel like I'm important to someone. My love for older people is undeniable ,strong ,and unfailing . I don't see me doing nothing else but sharing my big heart for a person who needs it. And just knowing that they are glad to have a great caregiver In their life, that's what my achievement is. I'm 40 years old. I've been a CNA for 14 yrs I live in Lodi. I have one son he's 20 soon to be 21. I work for Mule Creek State Prison. I am very active I go running 5 days a week. I enjoy go to the movies, walks, and watching lifetime movie network. I like to visit my dad weekly we have Sunday dinners at his house, which I love I'm very easy going and I live life to the fullest.

Hello, my name is Adi Elenoa (i prefer to go by "Elenoa") Im originally from the Fiji Islands in the South Pacific. Ive been a caregiver for the past 4 years and im a registered CNA and Home Care Aide and have certification for Basic Life Support. The longest client iv ever looked after was for 6months. I have experience in caring for both male and female elderly clients, specifically those with Dementia, COPD and have also cared for those discharged and undergoing rehabilitation at home and also those that need companionship with assistance. I can attend to light house keeping chores, preparation of meals, transfers and attending to Activities of Daily Living.
