Growing up I've always had a passion caring for others. When I was 16 my mother was diagnosed with stage 3 ovarian cancer (currently 24). I knew at that moment healthcare was my calling. I helped with transportation to doctors appointments, grocery shopping, toileting, dressing, grooming, bathing, and providing emotional care. I've worked in a senior home previously. I have experience working with a variety of different health problems (physical and mental). I proudly hold a CNA title and also BLS certified. The same love and care I provided for my mother and residents is the same love and care I can provide for you or your loved one.

I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one-on-one interaction with others. I have a passion for caring for others. I enjoyed taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way because if I could still help my grandparents now with the experience I have now I would feel much better.

I am a people's person I love communicating with everyone. I have always been a companion for anyone that I have worked for. What makes me great is because when my mom and nephew got sick I stepped up and became their caregiver. Both of my family members had great illnesses and needed to be tended to 24hrs. That's what made me become interested in this career knowing I could help make a change in people's lives. The best part is knowing that your patients let u know that u are a good asset to them and it let's u know that u have accomplished what u have set out to do.

I am a passionate care giver with over 4 years experience in care. I have previous experience a certified nurse assistant and I keep up with recent trends and my license is up to date. I worked at specialized nursing facilities and hospitals where I got all my clinical skills from. I dont see caregiving as a job but a calling to help senior have a good end of life with passionate care, this driven ideology and passionate enable me pursue a nursing degree which I have started the perquisites. I decided to become a caregiver after recovering from a horrible accident when I was 20 years old. I received very poor care in a CA county hospital when I was hit and run over on my bicycle. I was discharged after two weeks and hadn't yet been treated for third degree burns. If it hadn't been for The ICU nurse, I wouldn't have survived. I do remember my interactions with her and one other nurse. I believe that they inspired me to want to do the same for others. Also, My older brother was developmentally challenged. I cared for him as a child and even helped him get his high school diploma and drivers license. I tutored him in english. I also gave care to my mother when she developed ovarian cancer. In the year 2000 I became a caregiver for the state operated group homes in AZ. I went on to work for Helping Hands,(also in AZ), and then became a certified nursing assistant through a Kindred facility in Sedona, AZ. Shortly after I was offered a position as an RNA after completing the course and passing my skills test. I am now partially retired and continue to work part time as a caregiver.

I've been a caregiver my whole life I'm 32 my very first job ever was with ihss when I turned 18 I currently work for a post acute I have experience with numerous types of conditions from mental to physical so I can handle anything I have no problem with pets and will work anytime but I prefer noc shifts

What I enjoy most about being a CNA is being able to help others in the time of need, being able to get to know my patients life experiences for who they are not only in the past but also for who they are now and learn knowledge from them from their past. A personal achievement that I have would be that I like to make my patients' lives positive.
