I have more then 5 years of experience working as a CNA and a live in caregiver for home care agencies and have worked in nursing/retirement homes as well. Dependability, reliability, kindness, empathy, calm nature are few of my strongest traits in taking care of my loved ones. I grew up with my grandparents and naturally we take care of our own as it is a cultural thing. I love being around seniors and assist in whatever way I can as they remind me so much of my grandparents who lovingly took cared of us. Making them smile and making them feel comfortable makes me feel complete and happy.

Nurturing and motherly traits have always come naturally to me. I am a mother of 3 but have been caring for my siblings as well as neighborhood children since I was a young girl. I have officially been in healthcare for just about 6 years but have been immersed in the care of family members before it was even my job title. I found through the care of my mom during her hospice stay, that caring for others during life changing events is my passion. I take pride in my work and the help I offer to those in need. It's important for me to mirror qualities of not just hard work and determination but compassion, empithy, and times of being selfless to mold my children into well rounded kind little people. My favorite part of my work is celebrating all the victories with my patients, no matter how small it may seem to them. I value the relationships we build and look forward to going to work to interact with them. I have truly found my life's work. I am a certified nursing assistant. I have my basic life support (CPR). I have worked at a hospital for 3 years. I am starting a new chapter in my life, I just moved from Nebraska all they way to California.

I realized I fell in love with caregiving when going to work was less of work feeling and more of a it makes me happy feeling. I love my job because of my residents. They are what make it worth while for me. The type of serotonin I get from it makes for an amazing caregiving as myself. The bond I have held and compassion for my residents is on another level. They are my pride and joy and I love them so much. I have so much compassion in what I do and I am proud of what I do. That is what makes a good caregiver. I am patient with them and I try and understand their needs and wants. You need to have empathy as I have for them. I enjoy spending time with my residents but what I love most is seeing them heal. As I am also in a rehabilitation center, I strive to make them healthier and visually seeing that they are getting better makes me feel so happy. One of my biggest achievements as a nursing assistant is seeing them become better, most of my achievements are making the residents happier and that is so big to me, so thank you so much in advance for taking the next steps with me and you will not regret it.

I am an STNA (State Tested Nursing Assistant) and also CPR , First Aid, and AED certified. I have been working in the health field for almost 8 years. In June of 2010, I graduated from Ross Medical education in medical assisting. December 2010 is when I began working in health care. I have experience in home health care, private care, in a facility, hospital setting, independently through Medicaid, with Dementia/Alzheimer's and worked as an activities assistant. My experiences have been with individuals, couples and groups of residents. Working with rehab, long term care and dementia, I have gained an abundance of knowledge and experience. My job is to be here for your loved one/self. I am here to make sure ADL's are addressed and companionship is shared. Medication reminders, housekeeping, cooking, bathing, errands and anything else required or needed is what I am here for. I truly love what I do and hope to share that with you and your loved one.

I am very loving and caring . I love to help others . I enjoy making others faces light up . I am a good leader and willing to learn any patient or any situation. I became a caregiver because I love helping people my residents are amazing. I believe it's al about giving the best resident care there is. Hello! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me a little better! I am 24 years old, I moved into the Grass Valley/Nevada City area when I was just 9 years old. Living with my 60+ year old grandparents, I attended Bear River High School and had plentiful friends. I worked small jobs like McDonalds, Dickies and Tractor Supply and finally stumbled upon the joys of caregiving through a friend who was working as one. I immediately fell in love. The atmosphere reminded me of my home, old school music and the stories, miles long. I enjoy spending my time absorbing the knowledge, humor and wisdom that so many folks have to offer. I lived with my loving grandparents until 2017, when I carved time away from my family to attend Nursing Assistant school in Sacramento.
