I became a caregiver because I have a passion with providing care to those individuals who need assistant with staying in the comfort of their home safely. I enjoy being apart of a team who promote clients to reach their highest level of independence. After, discovering I really enjoyed the kind of work that I do I went back to school and pursued my CNA/HHA and Acute Care license. I have five years of experience as a PCA, My first encounter was taking care of a stroke client. I'm independent, empathetic, trustworthy, reliable and really committed with the job I've been called to do. I'm currently a Geriatric Aide and working for the Center for Elder's Independence as well.

I am able to work with different types of patient. I have a 25 years of experience as a care giver. I worked at Stanford Hospital and Los Gatos community hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant. I also worked at home care settings doing personal care, hospice care, and oncology. What makes me a great caregiver is because I am simply: Patient, compassionate, attentive, dependable, and trustworthy.

Being a caregiver for 15 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked in Sarah Care Elderly Daycare with Alzheimer's and dementia, in private homes with diabetes, hypertension, stroke, etc... I love what I do because taking care of clients who need my help, gives me joy in my heart. I enjoy having the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference. I appreciate the chance to get to know the clients and their family and become an integral part of their lives. A personal achievement I am proud of would have to be making others happy. I form a bond with my clients. I have a very outgoing, bubbly, and joyful personality that brings joy and laughter. What makes me a great caregiver is that I give it my all.

I am a mother of four lovely girls. Ages 21,19, 17 and 11 yrs. old. I graduated as Bachelor Nutrition and Dietetics 1996 and been Registered Dietetians in the Philippines now I am studying Nutrition here in CA to pursue my career for as Registered Dietitian CA for my success is my kids success to help them and inspire them..I will work since 2004 as Caregiver and until now....I love working as a caregiver and be able to help our seniors for they like my extended family for i am been orphans since i was 16 yrs. old so happy to be able to help and by caring with sencerity the family became like my extended family... because Ilost my parents early my children longing grand parents.... me and my husband lost our parents early... My husband lost his mom at age 12 and me i lost my dad i was only 4 years old and my mom at 16 years old so my patients become my extended family to me.... all of my patients even they die now all of there family been my extended family still have a communications with them... so I am a compassionate and loving person so glad to help who needs my help... i love to be your extended family with Tender Loving Care whenever i work with my patients! As pursuing my education and working also with kids part time job as Instructional Assistant for more than five years at Oak Grove School District.... so I can say I love kids and senior too! To see them struggle daily not being able to stay independent, helped me to pursue a career in nursing. I became a certified nurse assistant 8 years ago at a nursing home and I loved it. Being a caregiver helped me to reach out and give as much support not only for elderly people but for those who are sick and lonely. Besides caring for loved ones, I love to keep them company and entertain through singing. I'm a team player and dependable.
