I love what I do! I love making a difference in someone's life - if I can make them laugh or smile then I've done my job! If I can get my clients out of the house for shopping, appointments or even lunch then I'm helping them help me! I love making new friends & having everlasting friendships with my clients and their families! For the past 3 years I've been a caregiver for my neighbor's dad (he's 97), I was his morning caregiver (he had round the clock caregiving), I fed him breakfast and lunch, took him to church / bingo every Monday, we did his errands during the week and Fridays we did the library. I really love my job as a caregiver!

I'm a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). I'm a good nature, compassionate, very caring to people and natural in caregiving, I have 12 hours certification on Caregiver Core, and 11hours certification on Mental Health, and I'm currently still finishing up my 23 hours online class with dementia care certifications. As a young kid at 11 years old, I help take of my aunts mom who had Alzheimer's, took care of my sick brother who was in and out of hospital for 3 months. Later in my life when I got here I got here in the bus by 2008 I took care of my mother who just a had stroke she bed bound for over a year, I was 24 hours caregiver, she recovered from in the middle of 2010, and then early 2012 she was diagnosed of stage 4 lung cancer, I took care of until she past away four months later. After she past then I became my father in-laws primary caregiver as o have been already during the time my mother in-law is sick. My father in-law suffers from deabetes type 2, and dementia was there for him from the beginning until the end stage of dementia and eventually until he past away on June, 2015- I discover since I was young that I love caring for people I love to make people happy,...I know that caregiving is gift that I was born with, I know that this is hard job for a lot people if it's not nature to take on big responsibility. I take that responsibility seriously just like I would care for my own family.

Hello there! A brief summary about me is as follows: I'm a compassionate, friendly, responsible, and family oriented individual which I believe adds to my ability to provide services as a caregiver. I'm currently in school to get my bachelors in Human Biological Sciences in pursuit of my long term career aspiration to become a doctor of osteopathy. I have found that I love to spend my time being of service to others especially those in need. My expertise is in offering companionship as nothing gives me greater joy than knowing I've made a difference in someone's day by simply being there hence why caregiving is such an attractive job to me. I also do my best to encourage and not judge others in my day to day life and I particularly enjoy bringing that attribute to this line of work as it has benefited my clients to have someone they feel understands and can be trusted with even their most vulnerable of moments. I listen to them and love to get to know them. I have taken care of some of the most amazing people. My recent client died. He had lung cancer- final stages , tumor and dementia. I truly did have a great chance to get to know someone amazing. I also go beyond the care ones needs. I have taken care of special needs ones from childcare and adult! I am currently a student at College of the Canyons and am on track to becoming a nurse. I am an Army Veteran and a compassionate care giver.
