Very caring and passionate about my job. What attracted me to becoming a caregiver was my passion for patient care and helping others. I enjoy most about being a caregiver the smiles on patients and patients family when they are getting the help they deserve and need. A personal achievement i am proud of is being able to help others and give back a little bit.

I am proud to say that being a caregiver, i became a very very understanding person dealing with clients. I developed a close bond to my clients, spending time with them listening to their stories. I give them respect and dignity. To be able to bring some sunshine and smiles and laughter to my clients is already a big achievement to me. I worked with clients with dementia, COPD. My job includes help with medication, bathing/grooming, meal preparation, light housekeeping, run errands. I am registered with HomeCare Aide of California, CPR registered and a CNA.

My wife and l are certified nursing assi stant (CNA) 2004. We've been working as a caregiver for almost 17 years we worked with developmental disabled patients, in a facility and board & care set up, and quadreplegic patients , We enjoy taking care of elderly people as well as making a difference in their lives, I make sure that I give the quality of care my client deserve. The things that i like the most are that i am doing it for someone that i care about and want to see have the best life possible. Provided exceptional palliative care to elderly patients, provided them with a happy and comfortable life, that the best achievements in my caregiving job.

I am a very loyal caregiver. I started my career taking care of my elderly mother until her last breath. Though I put my life on hold to care for my mother, it was a time I consider to be a blessing. It began my love for care giving. The most recent Home Care Provider was for a client-friend I served for over 7 years. I cared for him up until his very last breath. In the 7 years I worked for him I never called in sick. I feel my expertise is adapting to the clients needs not just in the physical, but emotionally, and by way of companionship. I enjoy the career of care-giving because it truly is a career that is far reaching and meaningful beyond my imagination.

I am 24 years old learning how health is important and how we as CNA's can make a difference to patients and loved ones by providing a sense of security to those who may be going through a difficult time. I'm a new CNA, and I'm also a mother and someone's daughter which means that my way of providing care has come naturally. I also care for those who are the most important to me and treat them with love and respect. Soon I'll be working as a CNA and I have pledged to provide care, equality and love in the way which I would want my grandparents to be cared for. For example, being listened to, given warm culture meals and also not feeling like they're alone. I would never want an old human being to feel like no one is listening to them and I also would never want an old person to feel like no one loves them. Caregiver, Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) I started working as caregiver since I was 13 in 1976 when my step great, great grandmother was very sick and moved in to our house bedridden-patient. I did everything for her: feeding, cleaning up all kinds of messes, bed baths, sponge baths, undressing, dressing, grooming, transfers with assistance since she's very overweight, showing kindness, patience, empathy, compassion, genuine love and care, respect and dignity. Then, I was taking care of my grandparents; then, my father who was diagnosed with CML until he died on 2002; I was taking care some relatives and friends. I worked with people with medical issues: blood pressure problems, endocrine disorders, diabetics, stroke sufferers, different types of cancer, brain disorders, mental disorders, Alzheimer's and different types of Dementia, Parkinson's, ALS, MS, and more. Since I arrived here in US in 2007, I worked in six-beds board and care, Memory Care facilities and Assisted Living facilities, Skilled Nurse Facility as certified nurse assistant; I did caregiving in private homes, in-home cares (IHSS), housekeeping, laundry, range of motions physical exercises, and more. Also, my Mother-in-Law suffered with Parkinson's Disease. I was taking care of her since 2016 until she died on October 25, 2019.

I have 9 years extensive working experience as a caregiver. I give best quality care that the senior deserve. I am reliable, hardworking and able to handle extremely difficult patient. I am patience and understanding.
