I am a happy, healthy, compassionate, loyal, patient, loving person who found my caregiver calling late in life. I am 66 years old and have been doing this for a little over 12 years and love what I do. I started when a couple different neighbors of mine were ill and didn't have any family to help them. I had my CPR CERT so I said why not and when they were doing better I decided to make this my work. (Experience through: IHSS, CARE.COM, CARELINX & CAMBRIAN HOME CARE) The first client I had was in very bad shape when I met him, diabetes, renal failure, heart failure, living on his own, not keeping up with his meds or taking his insulin properly. I called his Dr. got him on a med schedule and with the right food, TLC and exercise he did quite well. Since then I have had several different clients, one was on hospice and others I took to Dr appts., med Mgmt. , meal prep, errands and companionship. I'm looking now because one of my clients I had been caring for since 2015, unfortunately she passed away early November. I enjoy my work and I work very hard! Thank you so much, Cindy

Light Housekeeping, meal preparation, and dispense medications. I also help with all daily living activities. Full time or Part time. Day or Night shift

Besides experience and knowledge I acquired from nursing school, helping others has always been my passion. I find joy and fulfillment knowing I make a difference in someone else's life. I am patient and willing to adjust to the needs of my clients. I try to put myself in their shoes, to try and understand them. I treat my patients with love and respect, and with dignity, just like how I would want to be treated if I was in their same situation. Since I was a young age, I have always been interested in helping other people. I enjoy helping others who have trouble helping themselves especially the elderly. I completed my vocational nursing studies in 2012 and it was at that point I realised that helping people is my calling. I love that being a caregiver, you can make a difference. It's a rewarding experience providing care and assistance to those who are no longer able to do so and to know that I have done my job right when I see smiles on their faces. The moments that make me most proud of as a care giver is when I see my patients doing well, seeing their happy faces.

I'm a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA). I'm a good nature, compassionate, very caring to people and natural in caregiving, I have 12 hours certification on Caregiver Core, and 11hours certification on Mental Health, and I'm currently still finishing up my 23 hours online class with dementia care certifications. As a young kid at 11 years old, I help take of my aunts mom who had Alzheimer's, took care of my sick brother who was in and out of hospital for 3 months. Later in my life when I got here I got here in the bus by 2008 I took care of my mother who just a had stroke she bed bound for over a year, I was 24 hours caregiver, she recovered from in the middle of 2010, and then early 2012 she was diagnosed of stage 4 lung cancer, I took care of until she past away four months later. After she past then I became my father in-laws primary caregiver as o have been already during the time my mother in-law is sick. My father in-law suffers from deabetes type 2, and dementia was there for him from the beginning until the end stage of dementia and eventually until he past away on June, 2015- I discover since I was young that I love caring for people I love to make people happy,...I know that caregiving is gift that I was born with, I know that this is hard job for a lot people if it's not nature to take on big responsibility. I take that responsibility seriously just like I would care for my own family.

I am a very friendly individual that can get along with anyone. I know how to cook and clean and I have no issue providing any other form of care that a client may need. I am interested in this job as a caregiver because I am a recent nursing student graduate from the University of Texas at El Paso and I believe that it would be an amazing opportunity to gain experience while also being able to help and bond with a client.

First and foremost I love my job, I love making a difference in people's lives Secondly I'm a mother who took care of two sweet babies by myself, so since the people we support some times need tenderness, I have all the skills to handle them with care and love Thirdly , I'm very calm and patient person, most of the patients we give care for need to be handled patiently especially those with dementia. And some patients are get problems with adjusting to new care givers in their homes, so me being a professional care giver I have the capacity to fit in and make sure they get comfortable with me.

Over 20 years of experience is what I have, and great skills come along with these 20 years. I have attended school for my certificate as a CNA private Nurse and attended college for a degree in Child Development and Psychology. I treat my clients as if they are family and I am a gentle, warm soul. I am caring, punctual, and retain many different conditions well either if it's treating or knowing the effects. I currently have two different clients and I love them dearly, and I have been with them for 5 months now. I am adept in cleaning, cooking, washing, bathing, hoyer lift, bedridden clients, driving clients to appointments, etc. I love getting to know my clients and make them feel as comfortable and putting their trust in me as much as possible. I love taking my clients out and having a great time with them for breakfast or lunch if they want to. I am reliable and free-spirited and treat the elderly with much do respect. I'm educated, and have my degree in psychology, and child development , I am also very witty, and full of life and harmony. I went to high school graduated and then decide to take some nursing class I did really liked it, my first experience as a home health aid I remember working at facility care I really loved it I learned so much , I am a caring and positive caregiver I always want to make sure that my client and family are fully satisfied and happy the way I work , I always like to show how much I am full of energy working as a caregiver, my responsibilities are bathing , reminder for taking meds, errands, driving to doctors appointments, and do activities of daily living as a caregiver, I love my work and I always want the best for my client to feel comfortable and safe.
