What attracted me too being a caregiver was when I would take care of my grandmother I loved being around her and her friends I love the things I learned from her I was spending a lot of time helping my grandmother I thought about working with the elderly when I started working in a retirement home I feel in love with all the residents and what I was doing it's like I was working but then i enjoyed was I was doing so much it felt like I was at home taking care over my grandma I think what makes me a good caregiver is I always treat my residents like if they were my grandma I know they won't like what she likes of course so I learn to build trust first and then a connection with them I also ALWAYS KEEP IN MY MIND THEY ARENT KIDS ! An achievement that I am proud of is while working in the healthcare I got my Qmap and cpr I took a class on dementia too learn and connect more with people that have. I love working with elderly it is a passion I want to do for the rest of my life

I became a caregiver because I love helping others. My passion is to help other live the best life they can. I am caring, compassionate and will go above and beyond to assist my clients to live their best life. I became a caregiver because I grew up with a mom who was a caregiver. I went to work with her and helped out with activities at the age of 12. My personal achievement would be, that I've been doing this for 15 years and I'm not ready to quit.

Hi my name is Kiara and I'm looking for somewhere to not only work but can be welcomed into there home! I'm very outgoing, and unusual a very happy person. I try to not let bad days effect me; as long as the sun comes out there's always something to smile about. I started becoming a caregiver after graduating high school not know what I was getting into. Once I got ahold of things and learned how much joy you can bring into people lives by helping them made me want to stay and hoping one day I can work up to get my CNA! Since coming into this field I've learned that caregivers aren't just there for one person. They are there to help families have a peace of mind knowing there putting there trust in someone to care for there loved one when they're not around themselves. Everyone deserves a happy life and if I'm able to make someone's day easier and stress free, that's what makes this field worth working in!

I am a friendly person with a natural capability of providing continuous care to older adults and physically challenged people. Empathy is embedded in my personality, I am a good listener and I adapt to situations very easy. I can build a bond with anyone I come across and it makes it that much easier to understand them and really figure out what they need. Hey! I love caring for others and helping those in need. I have over 6 years of experience as a Medical Assistant in both acute and outpatient care. Additionally, I have about 3 years of CNA experience and have worked as a CNA in long-term care facilities through multiple agencies. Health care is what I do and what I love. I am very personable and can make friends with almost anyone. I am currently in Nursing School to obtain my BSN and so I am looking for a flexible and part-time job. I will be completing my degree in May 2025 and am so proud to become an RN.

I love being a cna. What started my journey is finding out my father had dementia a few years ago, I wanted to be able to to care for him. Once I started working as a caregiver , it gave me life. I want to be able to help those who are trying to hold on to the best version of themselves.
