My name is Dorcas matongoh I was born and raised in east Africa, Kenya. I came to the USA in20111. I'm a female. I went to Annrose school of nursing and I graduated as a CNA. My first job was at Balfour memory care in Louisville. I then worked at Frasier meadows skilled care, Broomfield skilled care . Good Samaritan hospital and lastly at Junipervillage where I'm working now. . I like working with the elderly because I took care of my grandmother who was sick and I have passion working with them. Being a Caregiving is an extremely rewarding job. As a Caregivers I take care of our elders, the people who have given so much to this world. Taking care of people is something I'm very proud of. ... Some residents become lonely or sad, but being a great caregiver helpsthem change there mood for the better. What I enjoy most about caregiving is getting to help other people in there time of need.

Am a loving person with lots of rooms to learn something new everyday. I have experience in hospital,hospice,nursing homes and homecare setting. Am license in state of colorado with certification in nurse aide and BLS/CPR. I have knowledge of proper care, feeding, wound care, grooming and catheter care. Am a very reliable person who create positive environment and good atmosphere for patient, family member and my coworkers. I have about 13 years experience as a certified nurse aide and also have experience in housekeeping to provide help and encouragement to those who are physically disabled in other to make them feel at home and loved at all time. Am able to work with or without supervision. I am experienced in computer chatting and understand medical terminology. Monitoring patients and providing all kind of activity of daily living are my major task as a certified nurse aide. I Have good experience in most kinds of restraint monitoring and the relief period, Alzheimer, Dementia, Parkinson, sitting with group or one on one patient are also something am very good at.

I am a people person, i love talking to people, i am very patient and caring. it's always been an honor to me to tace care of people. I used to be a caregiver for my grandma. it was very hard to see my grandma become uninterested in activities, of being tired and forgetting important task that had to be done. im more than happy to be a helpful companionship. I have been doing caregiving for about 3 years amd even got my CNA in the state of Missouri and love what i do.

I became a caregiver so I could give back to my community and people. I like being a caregiver because I can provide help and meet the required needs. When I see a smile on my client's face,this lets me know that the person is satisfied and pleased. One of my achievements is becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant. I am also certified as a Leasing Consultant. I'm currently enrolled in school online for LPN. I'm a wonderful mother too!
