Hello! I take pride in what I do because I genuinely care about the well-being and comfort of all of my patients. I am very confident in my work ethic, mainly because of all the years of experience I have. I've worked at multiple nursing homes, starting back in 2016. My mother passed away suddenly back in 2007. I never got to say goodbye or even go through a sick process. I had no idea she was even ill from a heart condition. My dad passed 4 years later from lung cancer. He was stubborn and didn't like that fact he needed help. Since I wasn't able to help my parents I found peace in helping other people's love ones get the help that they need. I know most people have families of their own to look after and can't provide the daily care that their ailing love ones need. I would like to help with that. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is hearing my clients response to the question 'What are you grateful for today?' and their answer is You. I love knowing that I am taking care of them emotionally, mentally, as well as their physical needs. They trust the safe, caring, and compassionate environment I create. I've obtained Dementia Care, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's Disease & Home Health Aide Certificate. My level of expertise is like no other; Effortlessly, I always go above and beyond for my clients. Ever since the age of five years old when my Mom asked me what I wanted to become and my answer was "Mom, I want to be a Doctor because I want to take care of old people and I love them" and of course she laughed. Years later I ended up in numerous occupations, but at the end I found my way back to nursing (smile)- Need I say more? It gives me great pleasure to listen to the elderly. Moreover, their stories are precious and rare each unique experience that "cannot" be replaced (priceless commodity) and most importantly the joy and knowledge it gives me deep within (humbled). Looking back on all my choices I can honestly say that I have no regrets; Especially, since it has mold my life and made me who I am today. My mother would have been proud of me when I achieved my licensed (CNA) and knowing that it does not stop there since I was already enrolled in a nursing program in College and eventually I will go back since I took a long break after she passed. In conclusion, I love what I do and work for me is (never) work since my passion is caring for the elderly (smile)-

I became a caregiver because I took care of my dad and grandma before they passed away and I felt it was my calling to do so. I really can't see myself in any other field but medical field. I have over thirty years experience from hospitals to convalescent homes to private care. I worked through Jewish family services in the past as well. One of my past patients was the father to two Ivy league doctors sons that I cared for for over five years. My last patient passed away that I cared for for over nine years. I have medical experience with every type of patient. I am familiar with medical terminology and have a higher college degree. Every patient I worked for was pleased with the care I had given them.
