I always wanted to be a nurse since I was a little girl. I love helping people and making them comfortable and happy. I love being a caregiver caring for people is my passion, I feel amazing knowing I'm helping make my patients feel better. The one personal achievement is purchasing a home with my husband three years ago to raise our three boys. What make me a good caregiver is my compassion that I have for people. Its genuine. I became a care giver because I love working with people even when they are going through troubled times. Everyone needs someone and I like being that someone. I like being a caregiver because it gives me an opportunity to be around people and gives me a chance to learn from their experiences as well. A personal achievement of mine is when I use to work at the hospital as a one on one care. The patient I was with had cancer, one day when I was not at work she passed. When I went back the next day the family came to see me, and told me what happened. It was personal achievement for me because we developed a bond.

Qualities that make me a good caregiver are having empathy respect, and being tactful. I chose to be a caregiver because i appreciated the care that was given to a family member of mine. I loved how pleasant the workers were and how much they made my family smile..instantly i knew i wanted to bring that same joy to other families that needed help. I love the work i do and treat those that need my help with great passion and care. Ive been doing this careee for 5 yrs now.. And i love it

I became a caregiver because I used to be very close to my grandmother when she was alive. I loved being not only her granddaughter, but a friend as well. I learned a lot about life from her, and she was like a breath of fresh air for me. Caring for her set me on my path to helping others long after she passed away. What I like best about being a caregiver is the friendship that can be procured. It is good to have the company, and makes me feel productive and needed. One of my greatest personal achievements was when I gave birth to my son Michael. I always dreamed of being a Mother and experiencing the joys that Motherhood brings. I am proud of my son and how nice of a person he grew up to be. My name is Vera and I am 55 years young lol. I have a degree in Special Education, and a certificate in Medical Assisting. I am hard working and love helping people. I have a sense of humor so watch out! However, I am serious about my job duties. I live with my Mother who is elderly. She misses my Father, and talks about him everyday. 3 years ago he passed away and I too, am still trying to get over it. My parents were my inspiration. I am so glad I was able to help my Father to the very end. I will always be there for my Mother and all the people that depend on me for companionship. That's what it's all about. I am a great caregiver, i am always punctual, doing my job to the best of my ability, compassionate, listen and follow instructions well.
