1. When a patient goes to the doctor and have to hear very bad news and suffer from extreme pain, they need a happy face and support. As a caregiver, it's my duty to offer the kind of support and passion that they do not receive in the hospitals. I became a caregiver because I care and I want to offer my help. 2. I like the organizing of daily schedules but most of all I like to keep my clients active especially the elderly. I have researched to prominent causes of increased diseases and pain in elderly clients and the one thing they all have in common is being sedentary. So I enjoy getting my clients active to reduce stress, pain, and increase longevity. 3. I am proud when my clients want me to return. I became a caregiver because I grew up with my great grandmother as a child and cared for her as she declined thus made me realized how helpless and fragile the elderly can become. The love she gave us was inspiring and that helped me to pass it on to others in my care. 2. What I like about being a caregiver is it gives me a sense of satisfaction knowing that I'm enhancing someone's life. 3. I had a patient that was critically ill, the doctors gave up on her, I cared for her and she lived for 11 years, she died at 106 years old.
