I became a CNA in July of 2014 after losing my daughter Karleigh to a genetic disease SMA. It's alot like ALS except it's the infant form. I wanted to help people in the same way that the nurses and staff helped my baby girl. I fell in love with the job. I started the pre nursing school in 2016 and am currently going for my RN at Lewis and Clark. Now that I take care of people for a living I couldn't imagine doing anything else.

My most important quality is that I care. And my caring motivates me to do the best I can everyday in my work. I am very observant and watch for any medical or other problems that might be bothering a person. I am always patient because I know that people with disabilities often need more time to accomplish things. I follow rules and regulations and I am persistent. I never give up on someone, I am very careful especially when it come to issues of health and safety.

My mom died when I was 3 so I care for my grandparents raised me in a very strict Catholic Family I went away for college for year and I had to begin taking care of my grandparents. I found myself going into a nursing home to learn how to lift properly and just give good care I am a compassionate empathy loving and I give a lot of hugs and smile and TLC I enjoyed being a caregiver because everyone needs somebody to help them and there's nothing wrong with needing help I consider myself a nurse aide and that's the best to be when you get hurt you need first day when you need to hell alone you need a Band-Aid there's nothing wrong with eating people who needs care and that's what my passion is and I really enjoy taking care of the elderly or anyone who needs me to help them
