Hello my name is Sarah. I have been doing home care for 20 yrs . I truly adore helping others. I have worked with many different people in the past 16 yrs. My jobs have consisted of bathing (personal care), meal preparation, transferring client With gait belt, trach care, hospice care, shopping, administering medications, companionship, exercise, cancer care and etc. I am highly experienced in working with people that struggle with Dementia/ Alzheimer's. I have handled many complex situations. Many of my clients have required high level care. I have enjoyed every single person I have worked with. They all are special in their own way. I think I would be an amazing caregiver because I am a naturally kind and nurturing person. I got into the field of caregiving because I love to help people, especially the elderly which I consider the most important and precious population of people. I'm a caregiver because I treat my clients as individual, I treat them like I would my parents.. I became a caregiver because of my daughter.. She had cerbal palsy and was a quadriplegic and I had to learn how to take care of her life until her passing.. I love to take care of people who may need help, or just companionship... Hi, an thanks for taking the time to read this. I'm not one to talk about me, so this feels a little strange ..but here I go. I believe what makes me a good caregiver, is because I really do care. Years ago I use to work in nursing homes an did home health. I saw a lot an it wasn't good. I will never let anything happen to anyone I care for. I started working for a company called Impact CIL, where I take care of those with a disability . Now, I'm wanting to branch out more like this here. I am 58 an my kids are grown an gone. I m a great care giver because I like helping my elders. I became a caregiver because I have a elderly grandmother who I love to death, I just wanna give back to those who can't help themselves. My achievement is the smile I see on my clients face,when my services are completed.
