I became a caregiver after volunteering throughout high school at an assisted living and memory care facility. My first year of college I worked as a personal caregiver for a woman with muscular dystrophy. We grew very close and fostered an unforgettable friendship. After transferring to a different college, I began working at an assisted living facility with the elderly. After these experiences, I knew I was destined to become a nurse. I absolutely love people and I am glad to help in any way I can. I am proud of my achievement of being selected as a Resident Assistant amongst a large group of competitors at the university I attended. I have also been on the Dean's List and Honor Roll throughout college. I am a very social person. I love to be around people and make new friends. I am outgoing and patient. I spend a lot of time with my entire family including my parents, siblings, and my 3 year old son. When I am not with my family, I am probably studying! I eventually hope to become a nurse practitioner. I have experience with Alzheimer's, Dementia, Developmental Delays, Autism, Asperger's, and Muscular Dystrophy.
