I became a Nursing Assistant when my grandfather was diagnosed with Cancer it was hard on my grandmother, but once I stepped in with bathing, helping with light housekeeping around the house or just letting my grandmother get out for an hour or two her load was lightened it was a blessing. I felt giving back to my grandfather for all the love and support he has given me all the years was truly from the heart, he later passed away within three months then my grandmother was diagnosed with Cancer and I stepped in for her with just myself and my little children and again it was a blessing but challenging at same time but God gave me strength through my trail and made me strong.If i can give that to everyone I come in contact with am complete because it's from the heart helping someone with a bath, dressing them for the day, of just having a conversation means a lot to so many.. I love what I do and can give another individual

Have 25years experianced. I respect and love being caregiver. Respect for elderly. I have hha/as good cna. I have 20 years od experiance with mental disabled and sick and senoir caregiving work....I was voulenteer for local hospital when younger too. Very nice. Compassionate and stable I will go down price if need to. Work hard. Very compassionate.. On time! good good references. Love pets..Respect and love to help others. I can ,,,,. Owned a caregiver biz with my grandma in past . Have a hha. we can work on prices..if too high I have worked with down town people and have good people skills and good caregiving skills. Hello I been in the medical field for about 15yrs and I'm currently a HHA ATTA and HMK. Im am also a direct personal support. I'm a mother of 4. I have 2 girls and 2 boys. I been doin foster care for 4.5 yrs. I love working with the elderly. I enjoy taking care of them listen to them doin earrings for there.

What makes you a great caregiver? I'm a very kind and compassionate person, wanting to see people prosper in their everyday lives. I became a caregiver to invoke change. I love to see people progress where they where not before, and I come in and I'm able to help. I like being a caregiver - again, because I like to invoke change. I like to see people come from a very low place, to a place they thought they couldn't rebound from. Bottom line, I just love being able to a make a difference. What is a personal achievement you are proud of? There are many, however, this one comes rushing to the for front of my mind. I took care of this lady that had TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury) When my boss at the time sent me to her home, I spoke w/her husband first. He went on to share w/me that she has slipped into a heavy depression and she just don't want to live anymore. He further went on to say that she had not walked in quite some time since the accident. Now fast forward, I'm speaking with her, she to said her family should have just let her die in the hospital. I shared with her that for the rest of the week we where going to do it her way, and come Monday, it was going to be a new way. To make a VERY LONG STORY SHORT, she began to do things my way. As I sit here (smiling while typing) she went back to the doctor, and he said WOW I have not seen you walk in a long time, she said "you can thank the WARDEN" and then she pointed at me. As I hurry to a close. I am not a cat person.
