I love my job and I have been a caregiver for over 10 years. I have experience taking care of Alzhemiers and Parkinson's patients, as well as those with dementia and the frail and elderly. I have more training than a CNA and have certificates. I am patient, kind and treat my clients the way I would like to be treated. I became a caregiver because I am a people person and enjoy being around seniors and hearing their stories as well as helping them to have to best life possible. Each of my clients have different personalities and like to do different things. Some things I have done for and with my clients are, preparing meals, bathing, dressing, laundry, shopping and errands. I have also provided transportation to Doctors appointments and assisted them and their families with understanding the Doctors instructions. Some fun things we have done together are watch TV, go to museums, the Zoo, movies, out to eat, go for a drive, play games, do puzzles, go for a walk or just sit and talk. An achievement I am very proud of is being a previous Owner /Operator of an Assisted Living Home. I have excellent referiences.

I'm 30 years old and have been a caregiver since my teen years, I do thoroughly enjoy giving care and meeting new people! I aspire to give my best when caring for others and to be dependable for those who need my services. I genuinely love my work and couldn't see myself doing anything else. I have always went above and beyond to help others and give excellent care. I'm thorough and honest in life and in work. With my 10 years of experience I have worked with just about any and all levels of care therefore I am confident in my skills as a caretaker!

I became a caregiver because, I like helping and taking care of people. I like to meet the patients and hear about their life and background. I am pride of my achievement of being a single parent and raising my kids up right. I am a quick learner, I am very flexible. I'm looking for a morning shift or an overnight shift. But right now I'm open with my shift. And I am flexible with my pay rate also.

I am a great caregiver because I care. I genuinely care to gain a relationship with each and every person i work with. I think once you gain the relationship with the client, it becomes that much easier for the door to open for them to trust you, for them to accept you as a friend / caregiver. I have been in and out of the hospital all my life and have always been attracted to the idea of helping people who need help. Its something I have always loved to do.

I became a caregiver because it is the talent God gave me so that makes me a good aide. I love taking care of those that cant. I dont like people that dont want to work or do a bad job when they do. After i know what it is i am to do i do it. I pick up on things very quickly. I am 55 years old but can still work hard.
