Approximately 15 years ago, I became my mother's Caregiver after she came home from Rehab for a major stroke. After working in a Family Medical office for a couple years, I began my Caregiver career. In the past 10+ years, I have worked as a Home Health Aide and CNA, providing many services to families and their loved ones, including (but not limited to) Alzheimers, Dementia, Quadriplegic, and Hospice Care. Services provided include companionship, transportation, meal prep, feeding, light housekeeping, pericare, input/output, taking and recording vitals, catheter care, colostomy care, medication reminders, assistance with bathing, showers, dressing, transfers, wound care maintenance, and oxygen maintenance. My special focus has been with Alzheimer's and Dementia care. I am a CNA and certified in CPR and First Aid, and continue to work on completing additional medical courses and pursue avenues to help strengthen me as a Professional Caregiver. I also maintain current Individual Professional Liability Insurance. Your loved ones peace of mind, comfort and health is my priority.

I'm an experienced competent, kind, patient nurse and had been working in the nursing field for 20 years now abroad and in here, USA. I treat my patients like they are my own family. I am both empathetic and sympathetic. I gained all my skills from the long years of my experience. I am extremely hardworking as they said but for me it's not about the hours or pay that matters but how my patient feels aside from the professional care I rendered. I am always happy to be of help. I have been a caregiver for 8 years.I chose this proffesion because i enjoy working with elderly people and being an advocate for them. I enjoy getting to know them and hearing the stories of their lives.I was a med assist for 17 years and have alot of medical training including alzheimers and dementia training.I. have great refrences that were clients that can verify my work skills, honesty ,and integrity. I am available for first shift mon- friday, as early as 6 am until 6 pm. I like to sit down with the clients to get to know them a little and to help them be comfortable. I decided to be a caregiver once I had my son, who was diagnosed with Autism at age 3. Plus my mom had heart disease and I had to care for her. The thing I enjoy most about caregiving is just being able to help someone and make things a little easier for that individual. A personal achievement I'm proud of is I commas able to raise my son , take care of my mom and still complete medical school and become a great caregiver.
