I first started taking care of my grandmother and I pretty much just stayed in the field of helping other elderly individuals reach their independency goals. I'm PRN at a nursing home. I've worked at alot of homes with having one on one with clients. I can manage to watch more than one client, though I prefer to have just one. i have a daughter myself who was hit by a car when she was 4years old that left her with a traumatic brain injury as well as in a wheelchair. i have been experienced since 1991 aking care the elderly and kids with special needs. but never could of imagine that i would have to be the one to take care of my own daughter. its an pleasure and honor to this... i love what i do and its makes you appreciate things more!!!!

I became a care giver because I enjoy working with people, and I have patient for people, every since I been a little girl I had to be deprived from doing things with my friends because I had to help care for my grandmother she raise me until she left me at the age of fifteen so that's why I feel that "God" have me here to help the needed people's in this world. What I like about being a care provider is knowing that I could help someone who's in need and that the family members could be releave knowing that they have someone that cares just as much as they do.
