I have been a Caregiver for a little over 2 years now. For some reason I can't explain, but I enjoy spending time, caring for, and being apart of peoples life. Seeing that I can put a smile on someone face make me happy. Knowing that is it the small things in life that make a difference that helps makes someone else life easier, puts everything in perspective.

Sometimes that is easier said than done and when your client passes away or no longer requires your care it can be very emotional but knowing you had made a difference in a source of comfort. My experience for caring for seniors has expanded for over 20+ years. I am a 46-year-old single women.This has been a passion of mine for many years helping and working with the seniors. I am very patient and I have a lot of compassion for seniors and there needs. Assisting with walking and light exercise. Plan and prepare meals, followed by clean-up. Monitor food expiration dates, make future meals. Make beds and change linens, as needed. Light housekeeping to include dusting and vacuuming. Assist with bathing, dressing and grooming. Laundry and ironing. Take out garbage. Run errands (pickup prescriptions, dry cleaning). Engage in physical and mental exercises. Provide medication reminders. Escort on appointments (hair salon, physical therapy, etc.). Escort to religious services or events. Maintain calendar and organize mail. Engage in activities (games, memory books). Companionship. Many references upon request.
