Caring with Love and compassion will always be my goal in this field. Since I was a little girl I helped take care of my great grandmother. Fast forward to 1990, I knew I wanted to be of help and I made it to CNA school to get Certified! I started w/ Nursing/ Rehab in California and finally moved back to Hawaii to be closer to family. There I started helping out w/ taking care of Family and eventually started working for Agencies. One thing I know w/ having to work both Facilities & Homes, it's both rewarding. Difference is Time & Quality of Care! Facility definitely needing to manage Time/ Quality for each patients. Home Care is best for Patient. Time & Quality of Care is much appreciated both by Patient & Caregiver. I would like to extend my Time to other's in need. It will be a pleasure to be of assistance in this trying time. I spent the last 4 years My Grandma Winnie's life visiting her weekly delivering the Sun newspaper (Mom & her had in the past- would see who could finish the New York Times crossword puzzle 1st usually earlier that evening!) I'd take her to the Movies, she really enjoyed our visits WE shared together. Just as I did with her! This was years after my mom passed that we developed this special connection. By learning from Grandma.... I had learned that there is a lot of similarities in ME that have transfer thru my Peers! They are & will be part of me always...

I would describe my personality as bright , bubbly and easygoing. I am a person that tends to leave things better then when I found them . I love being a caregiver, my heart is truly in it . I enjoy going home after a days work knowing that I provided my best care . I love building relationships and bonds with my patients they become not just someone to care for but they become family .
