Hi, families my name is Rose, mother of two young children. I have been working as a caregiver for 10+ years now. I'm a compassionate respectful caring person. I love what I do its part of the reason why I've been working in this field for so long I love helping those in need. I have experience in working with the elderly, mentally ill/disabled adults as well as people suffering from chronic or mental disorders. I am looking for a temporary part time job.

I became a C.N.A because I had a family member Who was terminally ill and I know how emotionally taxing it was on me and my loved ones to find a caregiver that showed not just the skill set but the compassion that it took to treat my family like there own. So I keep that in mind on every client that I take. I plan to bring i high skill set along with compassion to every person I encounter because they're not just a client to me they're family.

I feel that my personality traits that help me be a great caregiver would have to be how understanding I am to my clients, being open, I love helping others out and going above and beyond. What attracted me to be a caregiver was when I was younger my parents were always caregivers, so me being around it so much and seeing how much others (not my parents) would mistreat them .. I know that I could never do that and that I could make a positive change in not only the clients life but in the company. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is getting to know my clients, spending time with them and making sure they have everything they need. A personal achievement I am proud of is that no one can say I have made a negative Influence on them. Everyone will say how positive I am, how i'm quick at problem solving.

Over the years I have learned many important skills such as; Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, moving from one place to another, toileting and cleaning up afterward. Check vital signs such as blood pressure, respiration and pulse. Monitor a client's physical and mental condition; level of exercise; and how much they are eating, drinking and going to the bathroom. Handle emergencies such as an accident, heart attack or stroke.

My name Sheryl. I have up to date first aid and bloodborne pathogens certificates. I started care giving at a early age with my mom, who had seizures and strokes, now she has vascular dementia. In 1996 I took a CNA course at a local nursing home, worked in home jobs after that and prefer the one on one care. I enjoy caring for people. The love and compassion and dignity I can offer helps others in their time of need gives me a feeling of accomplishment. I am proud of the care I give for every client/person and in my experience they have always been long term and friendships have been built on the care I do give.
