I was a Certified CNA over Twenty-Five years of experience in nursing homes and Home Health Care the reason I no longer have my CNA license is because I was caring for a sweet lady for the past 7yrs until my sweet angel passed away this past July I was her main caregiver and I no longer felt there was a need for a CNA license because I will no longer be working in the nursing homes facility I enjoy the Home setting better to give one on one love and professional care in the home I am a very caring and respectful including family values and morals and I am compassionate and I have a very big heart in helping others that's what attracted me to care for others I am a very prompt person I know it is important to be on time especially if someone is depending on you I consider myself a five star Home care Aide I have good job reference from past employment and current employer and good family recommendations

I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I enjoy putting smiles on people's faces from the help I give them. As a caregiver, I've learned to love and beloved by my patients. They teach me new things each day. I feel what makes me a great caregiver are a few reasons: I'm experienced in this field, I'm patient and I know what to expect and how to handle whatever occurs from the job. I became a caregiver because it was similar to the very first job I had, which was a patient attendant at U of M Hospital, that was a rewarding job that I enjoyed, and ever since then I've been in this field most of my time working. I am a very loving and caring person I love taking care of the elderly. I been a nursing assistant since I was 18 yrs old never wanted to really do anything else but take care of people. My grandmother was my heart and soul I got into the healthcare industry because of her she became ill diabetic I lost her in 2007 but hasn't been the same without her I get my passionate love for my clients from her I'm always the one trying to find new things to learn and to help people I have a big heart I love hearing stories of couples been together for 60 years Love hearing war stories etc. I enjoy knowing that my clients are safe and loved I am all about respect I've learned a lot over the years a lot of people don't have no one and someone like myself may be the only visitor that they might get I take pride in what I do and I love it I am very proud of who I am today comes pure genuine love for what I do I take a vantage of life as much as I can I love my family I love to travel it's never too late to learn new things

I am fully vaccinated, and have my booster. I haven't been able to submit an image of my vaccination card to the site, but if you are interested in hiring me, I can send the image through communications (texts, email, etc.). I like to make my patients laugh, regardless of what the task is, whether I am helping them clean up an accident, or helping them get dressed, it can be a fun experience for both of us. I have received personal letters saying thank you for being so kind and patiently caring, from families and patients themselves. I am skilled at what I do. I do things thoroughly. I am stronger than I look, I can easily transfer people larger and taller than me. I know when to lower someone to the ground during transfers to prevent them from falling and hurting themselves. I know how to determine normal vital signs, and blood sugar levels. I have worked in nursing facilities, and respond well in emergency situations. I do have a cat allergy.
