I became a caregiver because that's the career I chose to get a degree in. What I like about being a caregiver is that I get to help others help themselves I'm proud of working as a Pca/Caregiver I learn something new everyday About me? I became a caregiver because I was able to take care of my sick mother home for 4 years until it turned into Hospice care at my home. Very attentive, patience is everything and tremendously dedicated! I've been in the field for 15 years or so and I wouldn't trade what I love to do for anything! I am 22 years old. I graduated from North Carolina Central University with my Bachelors in Criminal Justice. I found a passion for working with the elderly when I took on the role I have now with RSI. Not just caring for them, but I loved seeing me make an impact on their lives. I have been working with elderly folks since 2011, as a private sitter. I have experience in bathing, grooming, feeding transferring and etc. I choose to do this because I love helping others that may have limits to what they can do on their own.
