What attracted me to caregiving was the first time I was asked to go shopping for an elderly lady & sat and talked with her for a while. It really blessed me to see what it meant for her to have company & someone to talk to. What I enjoy most about caregiving is putting a little happiness or a bright spot in an elderly person's life.

I am a great caregiver because I am compassionate , kind and love what I do. I have been a caregiver for the last 20 years. My mother motivated me to get in this field ,as she had been diagnosed with lung cancer at the age of 65. Unfortunately she passed away at 67 , which will be 20 years this October. I love working with the elderly. I have had some great experiences through the years of my career. Looking forward to many more. I am now in school on line to get my Associate of Science degree in Allied health.
