I genuinely love working with all individuals needing support or care. My friends refer to me as "the mom" of the group. I do not have children but have a background in childcare throughout college. I spent a lot of time helping my grandmother growing up and until she passed. My suffered from multiple heart attacks, low blood pressure, cancer, and more. I have a very positive personality. I am soft when needing to be soft and I am enthusiastic when I need to be more alive. I am wonderful at keeping everything organized and attended to. I have a culinary background and I LOVE to cook and bake. My friends and family often brag about my menu's. I have trainings that certify me to cook and respect food allergies or restrictions. I am so attracted to helping care for another because I feel as if I can really help in the world. My favorite part of being a caretaker is to having the option to learn about another human being. My biggest person achievement would have to be working a Recovery Program. I grew up with a lot of trauma surrounding me. This disadvantage taught me a lot of sensitivity and love. I feel confident to care for others with a compassionate and professional manor.

I have worked with short-term, long-term, and dementia residents at a nursing home for close to three years. I have had the privilege of caring and meeting many incredible people to whom I have developed close relationships with throughout the years. I have helped many of my residents recover through rough post surgeries, as well be a constant friend when they have needed someone to talk to. I love caring for others and enjoy being a helping aide for those who can't help themselves anymore.

I love people and helping them however I can. I took care of my grandmother for 5 years and realized how needful care giving services are. Seeing someone who feels alone and many times can't even remember who they are, just smile is a gift to me. Many patients over the years I have cared for and at the end of the journey, I can look back and know I made the last days they lived better. I treat every patient as if they were my mom or dad, grandmother or grandfather. Because they are and they deserve respect and dignity dealing with all the changes age can bring.
