I enjoy knowing that I help make a persons life a little easier.I helped take care of my grandmother and I remember how she would smile when we would just sit and talk or do puzzles just spending time together.Family is great and I always treat my patients like they are family.I like to see each patient enjoy their life to the very best of there ability.I have great references and I really enjoy my job and the clients I work with too.

My name is Jasmine Thompson, I am 30 years old. I have been in the healthcare field for 11 years. I started out taking care of my very own grandfather who was diagnosed with dementia. Working with my grandfather gave me the passion to want to help others and give back. I also have experience working in homes, nursing facilities, and day programs.

The one thing that attracted me the most is helping people reach there highest potential because through my life I have always had to help others get through good and bad times. I am retired and active, my background has been in the Human Services field since graduation from college, 20+ years ago. I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents, persons with intellectual disabilities, in group home setting, it gave me great pleasures to assist them with reaching their potential, to learn basic living skills. I am patient, and nurturing, and attentive to details. I enjoy assisting persons with their basic needs, grooming, meal prep, assisting into the community. I also have worked with persons that have mental health issues and am certified as Qualified Mental Health Professional. I have been certified in CPR and First Aid. I do drive and have reliable transportation and a good driving record. I have obtained a background check from Sheriff's office in Fayetteville, NC, and have driving record also. I have being doing caregiver for about 12 years. I love taking care and help out other people . It is a passion I have. I took care of my father until he pass and I just love helping others. I gave my father his wish of not putting him in a rest home and I enjoyed ever minutes. If I could turn back the hands of time I will do it all over again. I'm glad I honor his wish.
