Hello, I'm Jennafer. I previously worked for a VA Medical Center as a nurses aid. I loved my job, unfortunately I moved and it was too far in distance. I am CPR certified, and have experience with most common elderly illnesses and diseases. I worked with a lot of patients suffering from either dementia, Alzheimer's, diabetes, urinary, respiratory, cardiopulmonary, restorative, and more. I absolutely enjoy making people happy and being part of people's lives, which is one reason I believe makes me great at care giving. I'm a retired LPN of 15 years active status. I possess excellent references, own a reliable vehicle and am in great health at 55. I became a caregiver when I realized how much I loved assisting and helping elderly, as I do my own grandparents. I started out first with a private patient, a retired Firefighter, whom I acquired thru a family friend and became his full time CG! Once my job was longer needed I knew I had to get certified and back into the field, and that's where I found my first agency to work for. My greatest personality trait would have to be my smile and willingness to be an open ear to my patients. One of my personal achievements that I am proud of gaining along with being a certified HHA is graduating with my associates degree.
