Hello my name is Tavia and I have been a Caregiver since 1998. I became a CNA because back in High School I went to various nursing homes and hospitals to volunteer to help the elderly and I enjoyed it. I love making a difference and treating people how I want to be treated. What I like most is building relationships and giving my client a great experience. A personal achievement I am proud is being a successful CNA and becoming a advocate for seniors. I am a great CNA with lots of energy and great communication with tons of CNA background. Ive always felt connected to people. I have always had a genuine love and concern for them. I enjoy so very much taking care of those who are in need. I love my job, and feel it is rewarding because, when you take care of others, and truly love what you do for them, it shows, and others see that. This has been a huge stepping stone in my life, and I know and feel with all my heart, that I am on the path I have been created for. I have a passion in life, for taking care of other people. I became a caregiver after my grandmother passed, she always helped and care for people. This is my way of honoring her in a way. I love the fact that I make a differences in someone's live. I currently work PRN and Per Diem with two top leading companies in the state of NJ (Atlantic Health Services and LifeChoice Hospice) as a Hospice aide and home health aide. I am both state certified as a Nurse Aide and Home Health Aide

I am a honest, punctual, and responsible caring person who loves caring for people who are unable to care for themselves. I have been doing that for many years and i enjoyed doing it. And, no matter how much difficult the patients are, I try my best to treat my patients the same way I or my love's one would like to be treated. Whoever wants to take a chance with me, would not be, disappointed.

I became a caregiver in order to get experience before I began nursing school, and truly fell in love with the field. I believe I make a great caregiver as I am extraordinarily patient, caring, compassionate and truly care about the well being of those I'm taking care of. I have a bachelor's degree in anthropology and have one semester left to complete my RN (I will be finished in December 2016).

What makes me a great caregiver is that my sister has been a paraplegic my whole life and as a child I had to learn proper care for her as she is in a wheelchair so when my father got diagnosed with leukemia I was ready to be able to care for him properly. I am a respectful happy hard working person that enjoys my profession because I learn something new every day weather it's a bout life or a funny joke and get to take it home with me.

I'm a certified nurses aid. I currently am pursuing to further my career in the medical field. I love being around the older generation and caring for them. Being a companion for them and helping them out.

I am happy when i can help people with needs. They like me because I am honest , caring ,sensitive patient and pay attention to peoples needs.
