Reality. The reality is, is that sometimes our most valued connections in life (family members or friends) aren't available at every waking second. We need to find other resources to help create new valued connections, like me! I have an extreme passion for being able to apply my skills and care into what I do day in and day out, and that serving people!! Whether or not somebody's looking for friend, somebody to help them to the bathroom, or help lift their spirits, I want to be that person! Being a medical caregiver requires more than just knowing how to do certain skills, it's about establishing a connection like no other with the person you are there to treat, heal, help over come illnesses or disabilities! Nothing would make me happier than allowing me to join and assist all of your needs with you and your family. I have a very personal relationship with palliative care and/or hospice healing. I was my mother's main caretaker when she was diagnosed with Stage IV Metastatic Lung Cancer in early April 2017. I was her advocate. I lifted her up when she needed to be both physically and mentally. I listened to her, provided her professional medical care with anything that needed and/or required critical medical attention (which was often), but mostly I held her hand. Throughout the entire process the pain was hard, unbearable even, but I wouldn't give up. I know what it's like to be on both sides... The family member and the caretaker. But what I can empathize more with is being the actual patient. The relation to both parties is significant for me. I am feeling more than compelled to help out that special family that needs it. If anyone gets it, it's me. One of my favorite questions: "how can I help you?"

I'm a great care giver because I love what I do I enjoy helping others , this is something I have been doing for a few years now and I plan on continuing to do as long as possible just knowing that they are okay makes me very happy

My name is MaryAnn I am a certified medical assistant, I am searching for private patients who live in the Budd Lake area that need patient care. My duties include providing routine personal care, basic health care for the elderly and the disabled people in their home as a caregiver, I will help patients’ with bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and serving/preparing meals and assisting with eating if necessary, I also know how to feed with a stomach tube. I do basic housekeeping including changing bed linens, doing the laundry and light house cleaning. Additionally, I will maintain records of my patients’ condition, progress and difficulties to keep the case managers informed. My hours/days I am looking for is part-time. I have been in the nursing field since 1996. In 2013 I decided to go to school to become a medical assistant. I have a portfolio made with all the important information that is needed for caregiving. I love taking care of people with Alzheimer's and Dementia. The main reason I got into this field is my grand mother needed care and my mother did not want to put her in a nursing home. Also my son who passed away from leukemia, I made him a promise that I would better myself in the nursing field.

I became a Certified Nurses Aide in 1977, and have kept going ever since. I have worked mostly with geriatrics, in long term facilities. I also worked in Hospice both professionally and private duty often, as well as homecare for skilled and personal care. I really enjoy people and giving comfort when it is needed.

To be able to help people, making people smile and giving a sense of hope and providing the best care possible to each and every individual. I was able to care for the elderly which also help me continue my education. I finished school in March as a Registered Medical Assistant. I'm very caring and sympathic to another person needs.
