My first experience is when I started taking care of my grandmother 4 years ago Then I fall in love just knowing that I am able to help someone in there time of need if they can't help them self be a companion. working at the nursing home give me some good experience hands-on experience knowing that I am being able to help someone care for someone be there for them in their time of need and that's what's me that's what makes me happy. When l was you I was very sick stayed in and out off hospitals , l have 4 siblings including my mom we are and was in the healthcare field. My objective is to assist the client to achieve his or her goal in get back on their feet as much as possible. What I love most about my job is a heartfelt thank you and seeing and improvement in healing.

I'm a 30 year old mom of two boys. I've been in health care for 12 years now passing medication for 8 of those years. certified in CPR and diabetes and insulin. I've been trained in hospice and end of life comfort care. I enjoy everything about care giving! just knowing that i made someones day even a little better or put just a smile on there face makes my day. I'm big on family so I treat everyone that I take care of as if they are my family. I enjoy getting to meet and take care of new people and learning there life stories. everything is a learning experience and I'm proud of all the things that i have learned over these last 12 years because they made me a better care giver and mom.

I treat them with love and respect. I let them them know that they are important and loved. I make my patients feel safe. What attracted me to become a caregiver, my great grandma. I took care of my great grandma for 8 years up until she passed at the age of 102. After her passing it was my goal to become a caregiver and help the elderly. I have worked with geriatrics for the past 17 years, I used to transport them in an ambulance, I worked for seven years in activities with them, before getting my certification in CNA/CHHA. I have always had a very large empathetic heart for the elderly, and helping them brightens my day, it is an honor for me to go above and beyond the call of duty to help brighten the day of somebody else. I decided I wanted to become a caregiver after watching my mom do it for years. She would always come home with stores about work, some funny others sad.
