Since 2016 I have worked as a caregiver for others Companies , where I assist residents with dementia and Alzheimer's disease with daily living needs. I work under the guidance of a PA and RN to help implement and support resident-care plans, which include providing services to aid in memory care, physical care, and psycho-emotional care optimizing residents' quality of life. My care for others started when I was young, about 9. I possess a current CPR license and am a Red Cross Lifeguard, I own my own home, lovely car and am highly experienced and reliable, When your family and beloved seniors connect. I soar with joy. They deserve the care and respect they earned after their long and amazing lives. They are called the greatest generation for a reason. My parents worked FT and my mom simultaneously achieved a masters in Social Work. Whenmy grandmother fell ill with Alzheimer's she lived with us where I was her caregiver too. After college and Marriage I obtained a lucrative corporate career at a well know Long Island company where I worked for 23+ years. I volunteered at the former Avalon Nursing home in Smithtown. While visiting Dominican Republic yearly with my friend at one of her fathers homes we volunteer and donate to the local orphanage. I click with those in need, it is the most gratifying feeling in the world, I soar with happiness at accomplishing this. Families need help, they deserve help and I want improve your lives. Seniors can take their family members time 24/7 and your family deserves time of their own. I love being a trusted caretaker and have excellent references. Communication with the family is paramount, I am open to all requests, cooking, (light housekeeping, laundry ) time permitting . Running errands or a trip to the physicians is no problem.My personality is kind, caring and outgoing, I enjoy hearing about seniors full lives, of course this is confidential.
