Hello all :) My name is Sado Abdi. I will be turning 18 in 3 weeks here (June 2nd) for everyone worried about legal age. I currently live in Hilliard., OH but I'm originally born and raised in Atlanta, Gorgiea. I will be attending The Ohio State University fall of 2019, with a major in Early Childhood Education and a minor in Business. My personality traits are openness, fearless, trusting, humorous, easy-going, observant, optimistic, helpful, and the list could go on! I'm interested in being a caregiver because I really love helping people and my community. I want to be able to gain and learn something from this whole experience especially my patient. I am certified in CPR, BLS, and CRP.

1. I became a caregiver because it has always been a passion of mine to help others I enjoy caring for other people. 2. I like that I am able to help someone meet their daily needs who can no longer do those things for themselves. It is important to me that my clients are well taken care of. 3. A personal achievement I am proud of is continuing my education in the medical field. 4. I am currently a college student studying health information management technology.

I am very Passionate caring person, ever since I was little girl. Instead of playing with neighborhood kids I would help my elderly neighbors. I loved sitting on their porch just talking for hours. They use to tell me & my mom that I had an old soul. My mom also was a caregiver then she got degrees in other medical fields, you could say I got and learned from her. I first got into home health care because of My father in law. I was 21 years old. He had MS, & his family denied caring for him. I noticed how bad he was getting so I started caring for him immediately. The care he needed acquired more time so me and my 3 babies (at the time) moved in and I cared for him around the clock. He had some pretty bad wounds that tunneled down to the bone on multiple parts of his body. Which is why I got certified at the osu wound clinic. Everyone around me and even the nurses that came over told me i had a special calling for this job. It was what I was meant to do! It takes a special person to really love & care for others. There are so many reasons why I love being a caregiver. It's more than the satisfaction that I am helping others. It's that they also teach me about life and what we take for granted. Without them saying a word. I feel so refreshed after a shift it doesn't feel like "just a job" to me. With Each & every client I get it seems like there is a story and I feel like I am apart of their story by getting to help them. I truly love what I do!

i became a caregiver because i seen my mom do it so manyy years an the friends that turned into more like family is a wonderful feeling. how was i to know i would lose my mother just some short years after at the age of 33 an to live on in her name i knew i wanted to put my big heart to use an do what i knew best an help the people with there everyday life as they did for themself for years an its hard when your body dont do what it use to an just that will make you feel down a out but having somebody there just as a friend youll forget that you need help with some everyday living
