Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. I would love to take care of your loved ones because I am a Christian who believes time spent should be benefiting others. I can easily adapt to new and challenging situations. I am always upbeat and have a warm nurturing side. My favorite part about being a caregiver is making a difference in someone else's life and getting to know new people. Also in school to become a counselor.

I have always loved caring for people since I was a small child, after I had my own child my passion of caring for others grew. I love knowing that's I am making a difference in someone's life. What seems to be smallest thing to us, could mean the most to someone else. I have worked with individuals with special needs for seven years and have had the background of dealing with "difficult" traits. Everyone is different but we all want someone who shows they care about them. I currently am working with assisted living residents, and that's a big reward in it's self, I have no living grandparents so being with them makes me feel like I'm with my own family.

I left the workforce when my children were young and just diagnosed with ADHD. It was more important for me to be home with them to provide the structure and educational assistance that they needed. When they were teens, I went back to school and got a CNA certificate, but it has now expired. I have continued with my education and am now in the Occupational Therapy Assistant program. I currently work part-time with DD adults. I am seeking a more intimate work environment with either a senior, adult or child, wanting to utilize my training and experience.
