I've worked as a Care Giver for more than 15 years. I have an extensive amount of experience, and I am honest and committed to my work. My mother was why I'm so motivated to work as a care giver. I loved my mom, and as she grew older, I've helped and assisted her continuously, and I recognized the skill and effort that is needed for care giving. After that, I took classes and started a job with DHS. My employers are always happy with my work, and I'm always there to help, and I'll be there when I'm needed.

I love helping people, I'm a very laid back chill person to be around. I feel that adds comfortablility and calmness. I choose caregiving to be able to help people and not be taken advantage of but rather have people be thankful and grateful for the help I have to offer. I enjoy being able to give the care people deserve and knowing the job is done right and people are not being mistreated. I'm proud to have been able to work with kids, young adults, adults all the way to hospice care. Its a blessing to be able to care for people and build companionship and trust.

I think what I love most about being a caregiver is just the fact that I'm empowered to give a piece of myself to someone, to hopefully make their life better or more comfortable. I have a lot of achievements, but I think the one that I'm most proud of is the one where I had a client who would not allow anyone to draw their blood or do any kind of testing on them that was really necessary to make things better for them and get them a proper health care assessment. But, they were willing to put down their guard for me. Because of me they allowed work to be done and I can't tell you how thrilled I was that I would have that effect on somebody.

I was attracted to being a caregiver because I am nurturing and want to help others.
