I'm a very patient person that enjoys caring for others. I enjoy helping with housework and cooking. I've worked with some very difficult patients and have been able to build trust. Can work different shifts depending on need. I really enjoy helping people stay in there home as long as possible.

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation. I have a huge heart and am very personable. I would love nothing more than to be your families caregiver.

I am CPR/BLS certified, and have also taken courses for feeding and basic activities of daily living. I have been employed by UPMC Jameson Hospital as a patient transporter in Lawrence County Pa for @ least 25 yrs now, and I'm very attentive, communicate well, and I'm very good with the elderly. I'm looking to move on from my years at UPMC Jameson hospital into a career of being a caregiver.
