I love to help others!!For 30years it has brought me joy to know that I do something everyday that puts a smile on an individuals face. I'm giving back what was given to me, at sometime or another we all need someone to care for us so its my duty to give back. Raising my kids and finishing school so i could do what i love. I am a leader, and a team player, having thw chance to recruite great help also helped me understand what it was like working in the office and how hard it is at times to get good help for our lives loved ones so as long as I can I will help make it easier for everyone and I will not stand for abuse of any kind to anyone..

Being a mother, I have learned several traits that has allowed me to be great as a caregiver. These traits include patience, compassion, the ability to listen and understand others as well as being able to aid with problem solving. I am interested in being a caregiver because I enjoy being in the company of elderly people. They always have a lot of knowledge to impart on me. As a result, I learn a lot from them. I enjoy being able to help others, learning from them and becoming a friend. One personal achievement I am proud of is being able to go to school and earn my degree. Due to my going to school, I was able to learn more about Alzheimer's Disease and obtain a certificate for completing the class. Finally, I was able to graduate with my Associate's Degree in Medical Assistant.

I have been working as a CNA for over 10 years what do you enjoy most about being a caregiver is being able to help out any way possible and being able to put a smile on their faces even after all this covid stuff happen and clients not being able to see their family like before so we as caregiver gives end up becoming part of their family as well.

I have 4 years of experience with Parkinson and Alzheimer's patient doing grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, putting in and out of bed for partially paralyzed patient. I think one of my greatest traits that with my experience make me well qualified for the job is, compassion and patience. Because above all those are the two important things you need to have while working in the health care field, and I have learned both go a long way. I have been a personal care giver in many different enviroments/ to all ages of patients for the past 6 years, and the amount of different people you meet and just being able to be there when they need somebody/ help in any way is in my view the best part of the job.

What drove me to be a passionate caregiver, was the influence of my mother and how she effected many families lives. Although, I have 2.5 years experience legally working as a caregiver/nurses aide, I have had experience going to work with my mother in my early years of high school. Also, I have many family members/close family friends who have struggled with disabilities, such as Alzheimer's, dementia, healing from surgeries, MR, paralyzed, in wheel chairs, anxiety, cancer, and depression. So including all of those, I have years upon years of experience. I have my own vehicle/drivers license/ etc. so I would be available to provide transportation. I would be a great caregiver for you and your family because I have a GREAT passion for helping/Caring for others, and making them comfortable no matter the situation.
