I've had a lot of experience as a companion, caregiver, and a person to run erands for a senior citizen. My mother lived with us for the last 15 years of her life. She lived to be 102 and was able to pass on in her own bed at home surrounded by her family. I was her best friend, companion, caregiver, and the person who ran errands for her. I took her to church, her circle meeting, the doctor, shopping, and outings. I believe in encouraging a person to keep her dignity and enabling them to have as normal life as possible. I would like to do that again.
