I have been a CNA for 11year in many settings

I am a loving, caring, outgoing wife and mother of two my daughter is 23 and my son is 21. I have three grandchildren all girls. I have been working as a CNA for ten years now....I took care of my grandmother and my father until they got their heavenly wings. I became certified in 2005 because I realized this was my passion because I love taking care of people, cooking, laughing, and I am a very clean and neat person. If given the opportunity to care for your loved ones have no fear or doubt because I will love and care for them as if they were my mother, father, grandmother, grandfather etc.

I'm am a caregiver with 26 years of healthcare experience have worked with all types of patients such as geriatric, pediatric, terminally ill, head injuryand spinal cord, Alzheimer's and dementia,mentally challenged, and behavior patients. I believe I am a great caregiver because I take care of my patients as if they were my own family member. I give them the up most respect. I do all I can to make the quality of life the best it can be. I became a care giver because it's my nature a gift from God to take care of others. I have always done it even from a little girl. I love what I do. I like being a caregiver because I love making sure I can put a smile on my patients face that's doing through a though time. I make sure they are ok best I can in every area of being cared for. Making sure they Candis as much for them selves as possible then I step in. A personal achievement forme is when I have worked rehabilitation with head injury and spinal cord. I have taken care of patients that couldn't do much for themselves such as walk, talk, bath,cook, make bed, feed themselves and more. I have worked hard with my patients and by time of discharge to go home they were able to do all or some of the things for themselves. I enjoy the smiles,hugs, and thank you's. This is my reward.

I became a caregiver because my grandmother recieve poor care. I feel like I was call to provide great care. I pride myself on my great care and my clients also rave about it. I have a heart for this I do what I love.

1 When I'm caring for my clients I show them respect, love and give them the best care I can. 2 When I was a little girl my great grandma was in a care home and I wanted to stay with her and take care of her. From that time on I wanted to take care of people and that I have done for 24 years 3 I enjoy knowing I have made some one happy and made them feel safe and cared for. 4I have been able to make some one happy . Given them a happy file by showing I care. When a client ask me when I'm coming back I know That i am needed and they want me because of my care.

I became a CNA because I am not happy unless I am caring for someone. I have cared for children and the elderly. I enjoy caring for the elderly so much that I wanted to continue. I cared for my grandparents for 2 1/2 years and although caring for little ones is fulfilling, I have never been as satisfied as when I have been caring for the elderly. I love learning from the elderly and listening to their stories. I love being able to give back. I am most proud of my family. I have four children. Three are grown and the youngest is the apple of my eye. I have a wonderful husband that I just adore. I am a cat lover and have seven babies. They never cease to bring me joy. I love doing crafts, such as cross stitch and crochet, or anything else for that matter. I am just a down to earth kind of person, and I just love people.
